Shell Loyalty card

I'm feeling my loyalty is being tested lately.
Has anyone else received any rewards in the last 6-8 months?
I have not seen anything from them this year, and i have 952 points as of today, and i'm quite sure i have lost a couple of hundred somewhere.
Anybody else having the same problem?

Mine are changed direct into AirMiles so I never see anything anywhere other than on my AirMiles account after they are taken off the Shell Drivers club account.

Because they dropped the CitiBank credit card in January I'm currently getting triple points in compensation.

I used to get vouchers for money off and some bonus points on promotional vouchers, but nothing for months.
I have emailed them in the past and they have been unhelpful.
It won't stop me using the fuel because its as cheap as any other in my area and the car runs better on it, but i would like the money off now and then.

Yes, only two weeks ago, 300 bonus points if I filled with a min of 25 litres x2 of V power, by a certain date.

Now that you mention it, I've not received anything for a while. I used to get about £10 worth of petrol vouchers every 3 months.

Just checked my account tonight and i have now only got 252 points.
700 points have vanished overnight, so i will give it a week for the money off vouchers to arrive, and if they don't then i will be making a complaint.

Not had mine come through yet but mum's vouchers came through at the end of last week so hopefully mine won't be too far behind :pp:

I emailed them on friday using their 'contact us link' and provided the details they asked for (Account number and email address) and they replied to ask for my date of birth and post code (why not ask for it on the enquiry form?) and haven't got back to me since.
I'm starting to wonder if i should take my loyalty elsewhere, there is no point in claiming points that vanish or don't provide the money off as advertised.

So what's the alternative?

Pay 2-3p/litre more for BP and collect Nectar points worth less than 2-3p/litre?

Thats the problem, BP is dearer there is no question, but then there is Supermarket fuel which is usually the same price as shell and can also get the nectar points...
Truth is, i prefer shell fuel and the price is good (well, all fuel is expensive but you know what i'm saying) but if my 'loyalty' card is not rewarding as it should, the why should i keep giving shell my cash?
After all, its not rewarding me for my loyalty as it advertises.

It's not the same price, when you compare the lousy fuel consumption from supermarket fuels:mad:

Yes, just read Networkguy's post on not using Shell for a while in France.

Yes i have read that too.
Shell did reply today, but to be honest they skirted around the issue.
They said they will put the points back on and it will show in DECEMBER!
They didn't say how many points would be added ( i'm confident more than 700 have vanished) and they never answered my question about the money off vouchers.
I have emailed back for some clarity on these points.
In the mean time i need to go through all the fuel receipts i have kept since buying the car in January, and see how many points are totalled across them all.
This used to be a great scheme, but now its proving to be a bit point less.

Do you keep track of your points online at the Shell Drivers Club website or just rely on posted statements?

I keep track online, but i have also kept all the fuel receipts too as i wanted to see how this car compared to its official figures over the year.
I haven't received a statement from them this year.
